The New York Rangers beat the Montreal Canadiens 1-0 to win the National Hockey League's Eastern Conference championship and gain a place in the Stanley Cup finals.
The Rangers won the best-of-seven conference series 4-2 to advance to the Stanley Cup for the first time since 1994.
They will play either the Los Angeles Kings or the Chicago Blackhawks in the final.
