Reynolds could miss Origin two

6:48 am on 29 May 2014

The Bulldogs playmaker Josh Reynolds is facing the heartbreak of missing the second State of Origin clash in three weeks' time after being slugged with a grade two dangerous throw in NSW's 12-8 win over Queensland in Brisbane.

The Blues five-eighth was placed on report in the first half after lifting and flipping Maroons winger Brent Tate onto his back.

Beau Scott, who was also part of the tackle, was hit with a grade one charge and will be free from suspension should he take the early guilty plea.

Reynolds will accrue 243 points if he pleads guilty and with Canterbury having a bye this weekend he would miss the second game in Sydney on June 18th.

The Bulldogs have until 12pm today to submit a plea and should they opt to seek a downgrade then he would appear before the NRL judiciary at 8pm (NZ time) this evening.

If he fails he would be forced to sit out three games.
