The Warriors halfback, Shaun Johnson, is still only a fifty-fifty chance of playing the Newcastle Knights, despite being named to start in their NRL encounter on Sunday.
Johnson injured his ankle in Saturday's 24-16 win over the Titans, but has been named in an unchanged backline for the Warriors' first game at Mt Smart Stadium this season.
The coach, Andrew McFadden, admits Johnson's still in doubt but says he'll have until Friday to prove his fitness.
If he's not passed fit Tuimoala Lolohea will make his debut at half-back.
The prop, Sam Rapira, returns after a month's absence with a back injury via the interchange bench.
Ben Henry will miss the match after a flare up of his knee injury, pushing Ben Matulino back to the second row.
Suaia Matagi is named to start in the front row with the other three bench players used against the Titans - Siliva Havili, Feleti Mateo and Sebastine Ikahihifo - joining Rapira.
