Mystics beat Fever in Auckland

The Northern Mystics produced one of their most cohesive performances of the trans-Tasman netball championship to beat the West Coast Fever 63-51 in their dead rubber in Auckland.

While neither side was playing for finals spots, the match still carried some significance for the star-studded teams, who have both fallen short of expectations this season.

Two star shooters of the competition- Silver Fern Maria Tutaia and Diamond Natalie Medhurst - both notched up their 100th championship game.

Silver Fern Bailey Mes, on the comeback from knee surgery, appeared in the Mystics starting line-up for the first time this season at wing attack, replacing Nadia Loveday who was ruled out with concussion.
