The New Zealand sailor Sam Meech has won the gold medal in the Laser class at an Olympic class regatta in the Netherlands.
23-year-old Meech overcame a 7 point defecit in the final race to pip a local sailor, while fellow New Zealander Mike Bullot took bronze.
Both sailors are preparing for the European Championships in Croatia next month.
