England to lose another player

England is set to lose another player for next month's three-Test rugby tour of New Zealand.

The Bath first-five George Ford is a major doubt because of a shoulder injury.

The 21-year-old needs surgery, which is likely to take place after Bath's Challenge Cup final against Northampton this weekend.

Ford was in line to make his first England start in the first Test against the All Blacks.

But in his absence Freddie Burns of Gloucester and Sale's Danny Cipriani are the two first-fives competing for the No.10 shirt in Auckland.

Both Owen Farrell and Stephen Myler will miss the first Test on June 7th because of their involvement in the Premiership final the weekend before.
