Lionel Messi has signed a new contract with Barcelona that will reportedly make the four-times World Player of the Year football's best-paid player.
The La Liga club didn't publish details of the deal but Spanish media say the 26-year-old could earn around $32 million a year.
Meanwhile former midfielder Luis Enrique has signed a two-year deal to coach Barcelona.
The 44-year-old replaces Gerardo Martino, who stepped down at the weekend after just one season in charge, having failed to win a major trophy.
