The Warriors almost pulled off a stunning win over the top-of-the-table Bulldogs, but in the end the difference in class resulted in a 16-12 victory for the visitors in their NRL clash in Hamilton.
The better side won, but it took a try-saving tackle late in the game for the Bulldogs to extend their lead to four points at the top of the table.
Warriors coach Andrew McFadden credited the Bulldogs for their victory, but says they can take a lot from the game.
The Warriors are 12th on the table.
