Bad light has suspended play in the second round at the Kingsmill Resort with Ko one under through 12 holes, and two under for the tournament.
Hee Young Park of Korea has completed her second round and leads by one stroke.
If Ko wins the tournament, she'll become the youngest ever player to claim the world number one ranking.
