Auckland Aces matches investigated by ICC - NZC

New Zealand Cricket has confirmed Auckland Aces matches from the 2012 Champions Trophy tournament are under investigation by the International Cricket Council's anti-corruption unit.

This comes after the Telegraph Newspaper reported the former New Zealand cricketer, Lou Vincent, told the ICC of his knowledge of spot-fixing in the sport across five countries between 2008 and 2012.

NZC's chief executive David White says they have been aware of the investigation into the Aces' matches for some time.

White maintains no matches held in New Zealand are under investigation and says no current New Zealand players are being investigated.

White says they don't know how long it will take for the ICC's anti-corruption unit to complete its investigation.
