A mammoth performance from LeBron James has helped the Miami Heat push the Brooklyn Nets to the brink of elimination in their NBA eastern conference semi-final series.
James tied his playoff career-high with 49 points in the 102-96 road win to give the Heat a 3-1 advantage in the best of seven series.
The Nets were led by Joe Johnson's 18 points and stayed in the contest until the end, with six lead changes in the final quarter.
The series moves back to Miami for game five on Friday.
