Next year's World Cup squad search on

The All Blacks coach Steve Hansen concedes the lack of depth in the hooker position is cause for concern as he sets about building his squad for next year's World Cup defence.

Five uncapped players have been named in a 35-strong squad to prepare for next month's three home tests against England.

The Chiefs and Highlanders hookers Nathan Harris and Liam Coltman have been given the chance to prove themselves following the retirement of Andrew Hore and ongoing injury concerns surrounding the ageing Keven Mealamu.

In general, Hansen says the camp gives them a chance to take a look at younger players.

Hansen says players outside the 35-man wider training group could still force their way into the squad for the June Test series.
