After his first outing in direct charge of the All Blacks forwards, coach Graham Henry is maintaining the change in responsibilities isn't an acknowledgement that their coaching hasn't worked this season.
The All Blacks squad which includes four newcomers trained for the first time together today as they prepare for their end of season tour, with the test against Australia their first assignment in Tokyo on Saturday week.
Henry's continued to play down the changes in roles which has seen Henry as head coach, also take on specific responsibility for the forwards while Steve Hansen has been moved from that role, to attack coach.

Henry says it's not a demotion for Hansen and it's been business as usual - with just different voices calling the drills.
