The Crusaders captain, Kieran Read, has been ruled out of the side to play the Reds at Suncorp Stadium on Sunday as he continues to recover from a concussion.
Read suffered the head knock against the Chiefs on April 19 and missed Saturday's win over the Brumbies in Christchurch.
The coach Todd Blackadder says while Read's concussion is relatively mild and he is recovering well, the symptoms have not completely cleared.
He says the Crusaders aren't taking any risks with Read suffering two knocks in the last month.
The Crusaders team to play the Reds will be named tomorrow.
