Former Queensland State of Origin representative Adam Mogg has joined the New Zealand Warriors coaching staff for the rest of the National Rugby League season.
The 36-year-old Mogg fills the assistant coach's vacancy created by Andrew McFadden's elevation to acting head coach last month, following the departure of Matt Elliott.
Mogg, who played at Parramatta and Canberra in the NRL and Les Catalans Dragons in the English Super League, joins incumbent assistant Ricky Henry at the Warriors.
The signing ironically comes in a week when the Warriors prepare to face Mogg's - and McFadden's - old club Canberra at Eden Park on Saturday. Kick-off's at 5pm.
