New job for Black Caps assistant coach

The Black Caps assistant coach Bob Carter has quit the role to become New Zealand Cricket's High Performance coach.

Based in Lincoln from next month, Carter will oversee development sides such as New Zealand Under-19 and New Zealand A which he'll coach during their tour of England in July.

The 53-year-old leaves his post as Black Caps assistant Coach having held the position since August 2012.

New Zealand Cricket is now advertising for a replacement to join the Black Caps tour of the West Indies.
