Farina's fate to be known today

The board of the Brisbane Roar A-League football club has made a decision on the future of coach Frank Farina, but is remaining tight-lipped about its decision.

The club suspended Farina after he was caught drink-driving on Saturday morning on his way to training.

It is his second drink-driving charge in the past two-and-a-half years.

A Roar spokesman says the seven-man board has reached a decision, but will not be announcing it until today.

Yesterday Farina pleaded his case to remain in charge of the A-League club, as it launched an investigation into his drink-driving charge.
