Another Super Rugby star is heading offshore, with the Hurricanes fullback Andre Taylor signing a two-year deal with a Japanese club.
Taylor was being talked about as an All Black prospect two seasons ago before a poor 2013, but now the 26-year-old - who's shown glimpses of that talent again this year - is leaving the Hurricanes to play for the Kintetsu Liners.
Taylor joins his Taranaki team-mate Jarrad Hoeata, the Blues frontrower Tom McCartney, the Chiefs player Bundee Aki and Hurricanes flanker Jack Lam in recently accepting big overseas offers, while former All Black flanker Tanerau Latimer is reportedly heading to Japan next year.
Last week Hoeata, the former All Black lock, inked a lucrative three-year contract with Cardiff, the 30-year-old leaving the Highlanders and New Zealand at the end of the Super Rugby season.
McCartney and Aki are moving to Irish province Connacht, and Lam's off to English club Bristol.
Lam's Manu Samoa and Hurricanes team-mate Alapati Leiua signed a deal with London club Wasps before the Super Rugby season, while Blues midfielder Jackson Willison did likewise with French club Grenoble.
