Roger Federer has hinted that he might have to sit out next month's French Tennis Open due to the upcoming birth of a third child.

After winning his opening match at the Monte Carlo Masters against Radek Stepanek, Federer wouldn't reveal when his wife Mirka was due, but the birth would take priority over any tennis tournament.

The couple's four-year-old twin daughters arrived at the perfect time in 2009 during the five weeks he always intended taking off after Wimbledon.
