Canterbury United head coach Keith Braithwaite's five-year tenure with the national football Premiership team has ended.
Braithwaite had been expected to return for a sixth season to complete the final year of his latest two-year contract.
He had five successful seasons with United, including four trips to the competition playoffs and one Grand Final appearance in the 2009-2010 season.
The franchise is now looking for a new coach for the 2014-15 season.
