Ferrari F1 boss resigns

The head of Ferrari's Formula One team has resigned because of the team's poor start to the F1 season.

Stefano Domenicali has resigned as team principal with immediate effect.

Ferrari have failed to register a podium finish in the opening three races of the season.

The 48 year old Domenicali has been in charge since 2008 and will be replaced by Marco Mattiacci.
