Bubba Watson, the American golfer with one of the game's more unconventional swings, has jumped eight places to number four in the world rankings after winning his second Masters title yesterday in Augusta.

The 20 year old runner-up Jordan Spieth has improved four places to number 9, and last year's Masters champion Adam Scott has closed the points gap in his bid to replace Tiger Woods as world number one.
