Club rugby an option for Benji

Club rugby could provide the answer for Benji Marshall to get some much-needed playing time after a lack-lustre start to his Super Rugby career with the Blues.

After coming to rugby union from the NRL this year, Marshall's averaged only 33 minutes a game, playing in only five of the Blues' seven matches, prompting speculation he won't see out the full two years of his contract.

However the coach, Sir John Kirwan's, adamant Marshall's happy at the Blues and says he just needs game time, even if it's not at Super Rugby level, suggesting club rugby as an option during the June internationals.
