The American golfer, Bubba Watson, has won the US Masters for the second time in three years.

Watson started the final round at Augusta National in a tie for the lead with Jordan Spieth and fell behind early on the front nine, trailing his fellow American by two shots.

However Watson battled back to shoot a final round three under par 69 to finish at eight under for the tournament, three clear of the Masters rookies Spieth and the Swede Jonas Blixt.

It's Watson's second green jacket, following his 2012 win in a playoff.

His victory earns him $1.85 million while Speith and Blixt receive $910 thousand each.
