With their Premier League title fortunes now in their own hands the Liverpool football manager Brendan Rogers is confident his side won't buckle under the pressure of 24 years of expectation.

This morning's thrilling 3-2 home win over Manchester City lifting Liverpool two points clear of second placed Chelsea, who had a 1-nil away win at Swansea, with the Blues due to travel to Anfield for a potential title decider in two weeks time.

Leaders Liverpool are the masters of their own destiny, if they win their final four games they will claim their first top-flight title in a quarter of a century.

Third placed Manchester City are now seven points behind Liverpool but have two games in hand.
