The New Zealand netball team has beaten Malawi 27-22 in their opening match at the World Series in England.
The Series features the world's top six teams competing to a set of new netball rules known as fast-net.
Each game is played over four six minute quarters with teams claiming double points for any goals shot from outside the circle.
Each team can also elect one quarter as a power play, during which time any goals scored will be doubled.
