In what's thought to be an unprecedented move, the Australian Rugby Union has acted on its own medical advice and withdrawn the Wallabies fullback Israel Folau from the New South Wales Waratahs line-up to play the Western Force tonight.
Less than 36 hours after the Waratahs had deemed the fullback fit to play, the ARU received their own advice on Folau, and yanked the gifted No.15 from the showdown in Perth.
Folau sustained a throat injury against the Melbourne Rebels in a Super Rugby match on March the 21st.
