The owners of the Warriors rugby league club appear to be at odds over the sacking of coach Matt Elliott.
One of the club's co-owners, Sir Owen Glenn, has issued a statement describing Elliott's sacking as diabolical.
Sir Owen says Elliott was pushed and didn't resign.
He says the decision hasn't been ratified by the full Warriors board - or "by this co-owner".
Sir Owen says there appears to be an effort to evade accountability with the decision dressed up as voluntary resignation.
He says Elliott isn't a quitter and to suggest he'd walk of his own volition is disreputable.
Sir Own bought a 50 percent stake in the Warriors franchise in 2012. He is said to be exploring his options.
The Warriors chief executive Wayne Scurrah has refused to comment.
