Kiwis role up in the air now

7:17 pm on 7 April 2014

Whether newly-appointed Warriors coach Andrew McFadden can carry on with his other role as Kiwis assistant should become clear later this week.

The New Zealand Rugby League say they'll wait to discuss it with McFadden, following his appointment to the top job at the Warriors on Monday, replacing Matthew Elliott.

Meanwhile, the draw for the Four Nations tournament later this year should be finally released this week.

New Zealand is the major host along with Australia. England and either Samoa or Fiji are the other competing nations - the Samoans and Fijians play off in Penrith on May the 3rd to decide who gets to attend.

It's been reported that the final will be played at Westpac Stadium in Wellington in mid-November.
