Brothers to row together for NZ

The Blenheim brothers Robbie and Karl Manson have been named as the men's double scull crew for the international rowing season.

Rowing New Zealand didn't name a double when announcing the elite squad last month - instead they were going to hold another trial in June.

However a back injury to Michael Arms meant the selectors decided to confirm a crew now to enable them to concentrate on their training.

26 athletes in eleven Olympic class boats will compete in World Cup regattas in Europe this year as well as the World Championships in Amsterdam in August.
