The world golf number one Tiger Woods will miss the US PGA Tour's Arnold Palmer Invitational in Florida this week because of recurring back problems.
Woods says continued back spasms had forced him to withdraw from the $7 million tournament.
His withdrawal also casts doubt over his participation in next month's first major of the year, the Masters.
Woods says he's holding off making about the Masters while he undergoes further medical treatment.
Rotorua's Danny Lee and Palmerston North's Tim Wilkinson are competing in the Arnold Palmer Invitational which tees off on Friday morning.
