The Auckland teenager Sacha Jones has captured her first ITF Tennis Futures singles
title at the $25,000 tournament in Darwin, Australia.
The young New Zealander defeated Australian Alicia Molik in straight sets 6-3 7-7.
Jones then went on to face Australian qualifier Bojana Bobuscic in the final where she easily outclassed her opponent, winning in straight sets 6-4 6-1.
