Low scores predicted at T20 World Cup

12:18 pm on 18 March 2014

The Black Caps pace bowler Tim Southee says slow wickets in Bangladesh are likely to produce low scoring matches at next week's T20 World Cup.

This morning, New Zealand lost to Pakistan by 6 wickets in a warm up game after only scoring 145 for 9.

Brendon McCullum was unbeaten on 59, before Mohammad Hafeez made 55 - getting his side home with just one ball to spare.

The Black Caps play Australia tomorrow night in another warmup match before their first game against England on Sunday.
