Cameron Smith will be a one-club player for Melbourne in the National Rugby League and the hooker could play on with the Storm until he's 35.
The Storm, Queensland State of Origin and Australian captain's agreed terms on a four-year contract extension.
Smith had been linked with a big-money move to the Brisbane Broncos but has opted to play out his career with the Victorian club, with the new deal extending his run in Melbourne until the end of the 2018 NRL season.
The 30-year-old is set to surpass Matt Geyer's 262 games as the most-capped Storm player when his side play Penrith at AAMI Park on Saturday.
