The Wellington Phoenix footballers have snatched a late 1-1 draw with the visiting Perth Glory in a scrappy Australian A-League match in the capital.
Costa Rica international Kenny Cunningham headed home the 85th minute equaliser for the Phoenix, after Perth defender William Gallas opened the scoring in the 34th minute.
The Phoenix had looked set to again lose to the bottom side, after falling to an embarrassing 5-nil loss at home three rounds ago to the then-last placed Melbourne Heart, before Cunningham struck with five minutes left.
But with five rounds to go, the draw isn't what the Phoenix needed - they remain eighth, three points out of the top-six playoff zone.
