Sri Lanka win cricket's Asia Cup

Sri Lanka's cruised to a five-wicket win over holders Pakistan to win cricket's Asia Cup in the final in Dhaka.

Pakistan made 260 for five from their 50 overs with Fawad Alam hitting 114, before opener Lahiru Thirimanne smashed 101 to help Sri Lanka seal victory with 22 balls remaining.

Fast bowler Lasith Malinga's five for 56 restricted Pakistan after they had recovered well from 18 for three.

It's the first time Sri Lanka have won the trophy since 2008.
