How will the Magic perform this netball season

7:02 am on 28 February 2014

The former Silver Ferns coach Yvonne Willering says not one New Zealand team stands out in this year's ANZ netball Championship.

The competition starts this weekend with the Cantrebury Tactix playing the Waikato-Bay of Plenty Magic, the Northern Mystics are in Melbourne to play the Vixens, the Southern Steel host Queensland Firebirds and the Central Pulse host the champion Adelaide Thunderbirds.

The Magic have been the most successful New Zealand team in recent years, including winning in 2012.

However coach Noeline Taurua has gone, along with a couple of experienced players and Australian Julie Fitzgerald is now in charge.

Willering says it'll be interesting what style the Magic will play this year....
