The Proteas coach Russell Domingo says an accusation of ball tampering has given his side extra motivation to claim their first home Test series win over Australia in 44 years.
The three match series is level at 1-all following South Africa's 231-run victory in the second test on Sunday in which the Australian opener David Warner has alleged AB de Villiers used his wicketkeeping gloves to rough up one side of the ball.
Domingo has dismissed the claim as sour grapes despite his star strike bowler Dale Steyn being able to reverse swing the ball on Sunday and rip through the Australian batsman.
The Australian pace bowler Mitchell Johnson was unable to reverse swing and only took three wickets in the match.
The Proteas team manager Mohammed Moosagee says he'll leave it to the ICC to look into Warner's remarks.
The third Test starts on Saturday in Cape Town.
