The former US Open runner-up Rocco Mediate, is warning New Zealand golfer Lydia Ko of the dangers of making too many changes so early in her professional career.
The 51-year-old is in Queenstown for the New Zealand Open which begins at Millbrook and the Hills tomorrow morning.
Mediate finished runner-up to Tiger Woods in a play off at the 2008 US Open.
Mediate says he's been amazed by the 16 year old's career but perplexed by her recent equipment and coaching changes.
He says what she's been doing has obviously worked well for and he can't see the point in changing warning it will only destory her career.
