Jack back but will he be playing in the Air New Zealand Cup?

As Tasman continue to exceed expectations in the national provincial competition, the top of the south rugby union is hoping that the return of former Mako and All Blacks lock Chris Jack will be in the top flight.

With four teams set to be relegated the likes of Tasman are playing for their futures with no guarantees, and even their current top four status may not be enough if they're still there at the end of the season.

But Jack's return shows the Makos are planning to stay up and Tasman CEO Peter Barr knows Jack will be a popular recruit second time around.
