The Australian golfer Jason Day has jumped seven places to number four in the world rankings following his epic win yesterday at the World Matchplay Championship in Arizona.
In one of the great finals, Day finally beat Victor Dubuisson on the 5th extra hole after the rising French star had pulled off some miraculous saves to keep the match going.
The young Queenslander was relieved to have put to rest demons from a string of near misses in the major championships and he can't wait to get to the Masters in April.
23 year old Dubuisson has improved another 7 places to 23rd in the world rankings.
