NZ freestyle skiers impress in Sochi

The Wanaka freestyle skier Jossi Wells says he's happy with his fourth-place finish in the halfpipe at the Sochi Winter Olympics.

Wells was in third place after the first run, however he was unable to improve on that in his second run and was overtaken for the bronze medal.

Wells' prefered event was last week's slopestyle, so he's pleased with his effort.

Jossi's brother Beau James finished sixth and Lyndon Sheehan ninth.

David Wise of the United States won gold.
