New Zealand shot put star Valerie Adams will compete in Christchurch next week at the International Track Meet.
The national record-holders for both the men's and women's events will go head to head for overall bragging rights at Christ's College - so Adams will be up against local favourite Tom Walsh.
The meet takes place on Saturday February the 22nd.
