The New Zealand Breakers have narrowly lost to the Sydney Kings, 98-96, in their Australian National Basketball League match in Sydney on Saturday night.
Gary Wilkinson top-scored for the Breakers with 33 points but the visitors had a late chance to win through guard Kerron Johnson, who missed a two-pointer.
The Breakers trailed 53-50 at half-time.
