Steve Stricker has birdied the final two holes to win the latest US PGA tour golf tournament in Massachusetts by one stroke from fellow Americans Scott Verplank and Jason Dufner.
In a thrilling finale at the $10.8 million Deutsche Bank Championship in Boston, Stricker carded a final round 67 to finish on 17 under par - his third PGA Tour victory of the year.
Tiger Woods found his touch on the greens at last to card an eight under 63 but it was too late to give the world number one a chance of winning as he started the day nine strokes off the lead.
Woods needed just 25 putts, his lowest total of the week, and did not miss from inside two metres.
