The New Zealand golfers Danny Lee and Tim Wilkinson have missed the cut at the Humana Challenge in La Quinta, California, the latest event on the PGA Tour.

With the cut instated at minus nine after three rounds of the pro-am tournament which was formerly known as the Bob Hope Classic, Lee finished at six under par and Wilkinson three under.

The leader after the third day, American Patrick Reed, has carded three consecutive rounds of 63 to be 27 under for the tournament, a 54-hole record on the PGA Tour.

American Charlie Hoffman is seven shots behind Reed in second place.
