The New Zealand sport administrator David Moffett says he wants to get back into Welsh rugby.
Moffett, who was the Welsh Rugby Union chief from 2002 to 2005, says he intends to stand for election to the governing body.
The WRU and the regions are embroiled in a bitter war over funding, the exodus of Welsh players and an Anglo-Welsh league.
