Spanish tennis star David Ferrer has again been pushed hard at the Heineken Open but the defending champion again came through a tough three-set battle to book his place in the semi-finals.
The top seed beat countryman Guillermo Garcia-Lopez 6-3 5-7 6-4 and will face Taiwan's Yen-Hsun Lu in the final four.
Third seeded American John Isner faces another Spaniard, Roberto Bautista Agut, in the other semi.
