NFL Commissioner proposes London expansion team

12:09 pm on 9 January 2014

The NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell says he'd like to see an expansion team based in London as he looks to grow the sport of American Football globally.

London's Wembley Stadium has hosted at least one regular season game every year since 2007 and Goodell says it's possible a franchise could be based there full-time.

The United States' largest market without an NFL team, Los Angeles, is also in line to get a franchise.
