Black Caps post healthy total

New Zealand has reached 285 for 6 at the end of its innings in the fourth one day cricket international at Saxton Park in Nelson.

After winning the toss and choosing to bat, the Black Caps opening batsman Martin Guptil made a slow start before top scoring with 81 off 119 balls.

Jesse Ryder (47), Kane Williamson (47) and Ross Taylor (49) all batted well, before each fell short of a half century.

After 50 overs, Nathan McCullum was unbeaten on 9 and Corey Anderson was 17 not out.

Dwayne Bravo was the best of the West Indies bowlers taking 2 for 35 off 7.

The five match series is tied at one-all.
